McKinstry was head over heels when some very good friends of our gave her a car. It's not pretty, and it's not new, but it runs really well, came with replacement parts for anything that could possibly go wrong with it, and it is paid for, insures cheap, and the taxes are next to nothing for the plates. It can't get much better than that for a 15 year old, who doesn't have a permit yet, but has the car. Thanks Candace and Eric, what a great gift.

Wow! I'm jealous-a car at 15!
Good for him! It looks pretty old, but a car will continue to function as long as it is maintained well. That would be a great lesson in responsibility for a 15-year-old.
